Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs

1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Spoon or pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Roll each cooled donut in powdered sugar until fully coated.
Notes
To prevent sticking, thoroughly grease the donut pan.
For storage, place in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
To freeze, store uncoated donuts in an airtight container for up to 2 months. Coat with powdered sugar after thawing.
