2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 10-15 minutes until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat once the jam reaches your desired consistency. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the jam to a jar and refrigerate. It will thicken as it cools.
