Description

This Quick Homemade Strawberry Jam is a sweet, fruity spread made with only three ingredients: fresh strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. With no pectin required, it’s incredibly easy to make in just 20 minutes. Perfect for spreading on toast, muffins, or using as a topping for desserts, this homemade strawberry jam is a simple yet delicious addition to any meal.

Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

1 cup granulated sugar

2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 10-15 minutes until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove from heat once the jam reaches your desired consistency. Let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Transfer the jam to a jar and refrigerate. It will thicken as it cools.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.

If you prefer a chunkier jam, mash the strawberries lightly while cooking.

For a sweeter jam, you can adjust the amount of sugar to taste.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 6 months.
