Description

Rich and fudgy brownies swirled with creamy peanut butter and studded with crunchy, colorful Reese’s Pieces for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 large eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup Reese’s Pieces (divided: 3/4 cup for batter, 1/4 cup for topping)

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix until incorporated.
  3. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently stir into wet mixture just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
  4. Fold 3/4 cup Reese’s Pieces into the batter evenly.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
  6. Melt peanut butter in microwave for 20-30 seconds until soft. Drizzle over brownie layer and swirl gently with a spatula or knife.
  7. Pour remaining batter over peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup Reese’s Pieces on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Use creamy peanut butter for best swirl texture; peanut butter powder is not recommended.

Substitute Reese’s Pieces with M&M’s, chopped peanut butter cups, or chocolate chips if needed.

To make gluten-free, replace all-purpose flour with a gluten-free flour blend in the same amount.

Try crunchy peanut butter or add chopped peanuts or chocolate chips for variation.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 3 days, or freeze up to 2 months.

Reheat individual brownies in microwave for 10-15 seconds for a fresh-baked feel.
