Rice Krispie Treats are a classic snack that’s loved by many, but adding Oreos takes these treats to a whole new level. The combination of Rice Krispies, marshmallows, and crushed Oreos creates a perfect balance of sweetness and crunch, making each bite irresistible. Ingredients
4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
10 Oreo cookies, crushed
3 tablespoons butter
1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal and crushed Oreos until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish, packing it down evenly with a spatula.
- Let cool for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares or rectangles.
Notes
For a different twist, experiment with other Oreo flavors like Golden, Mint, or Peanut Butter Oreos.
For extra gooey treats, increase the number of marshmallows.
Keep them fresh by storing in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
