Description

Roasted Garlic, Chicken & Herb White Pizza combines the creamy indulgence of ricotta cheese with the bold flavor of roasted garlic, tender chicken, and aromatic herbs. This homemade gourmet pizza is a simple yet elegant alternative to traditional tomato-based pizzas.


Ingredients

1 ball of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 head of garlic

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup cooked chicken (shredded or diced)

1 tsp dried Italian herbs (or a mix of oregano, thyme, and basil)

Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)

Salt and pepper (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Roast the Garlic:
    • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Slice off the top of the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30-40 minutes until soft.
    • Mash the cooled garlic cloves into a paste.
  2. Preheat the Oven:
    • Increase the oven temperature to 475°F (245°C). Preheat a pizza stone or baking sheet inside the oven.
  3. Prepare the Pizza Base:
    • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and place it on parchment paper.
  4. Spread the Sauce:
    • Mix the roasted garlic paste with ricotta cheese, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly over the pizza dough.
  5. Add the Toppings:
    • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the ricotta base.
    • Top with cooked chicken and dried Italian herbs.
  6. Bake the Pizza:
    • Carefully transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet.
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Garnish & Serve:
    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or basil, slice, and serve hot.

Notes
