Description

Ingredients

Jumbo pasta shells (San Giorgio brand preferred)

Ricotta cheese

Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Parmesan cheese, grated

Fresh spinach, chopped

Garlic, minced

1 egg

Fresh basil, chopped

Marinara sauce

Optional: ground beef, sausage, or additional vegetables


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook pasta shells al dente, drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, spinach, garlic, egg, and basil.
  4. Fill each shell with the cheese mixture and place in a baking dish.
  5. Cover shells with marinara sauce.
  6. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.

Notes

Customize the filling by adding meat or extra vegetables.

Can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before baking.
