Description
Juicy, tender steak bites seared to perfection and tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce — perfect for a quick dinner or a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot and shimmering.
- Add the steak cubes in a single layer (in batches if needed) and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet and melt it.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Swap sirloin for ribeye or New York strip for a richer flavor.
Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
Use rosemary or thyme instead of parsley for an herby variation.
A splash of lemon juice adds a bright, tangy contrast.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat to maintain tenderness.
