Instructions
- Prepare the Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking mold.
- In a bowl, mix eggs, sugar, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
- Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, mixing well.
- Pour batter into the mold and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare the Chocolate Syrup:
- In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, and cocoa powder.
- Heat gently and mix until warm.
- Soak the Cake:
- Poke holes in the cake and pour syrup evenly over the top.
- Prepare the Passion Fruit Mousse:
- Blend concentrated passion fruit juice, condensed milk, cream, and powdered milk until creamy.
- Assemble the Cake:
- Spread the mousse over the soaked cake.
- Chill for at least 3 hours or until set.
- Serve:
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
For the best flavor, let the cake chill overnight to allow the mousse to firm and flavors to meld.
Substitute concentrated passion fruit juice with fresh pulp or other fruit flavors for variety.
