Ingredients
12 oz (340 g) linguine or spaghetti
1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
1 lemon, juiced and zested
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a large baking dish.
- Cook Pasta: Boil pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant.
- Cook Shrimp: Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Deglaze Pan: Add wine or broth to the skillet, scrape browned bits, and simmer.
- Prepare Sauce: Mix in lemon juice, zest, and heavy cream. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine Pasta & Sauce: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble Bake: Transfer pasta to the baking dish, top with shrimp, Parmesan, and mozzarella.
- Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
