1 1/2 to 2 pounds potatoes (peeled and thinly sliced)
4 tablespoons melted butter (divided)
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 large clove of garlic (pressed)
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup good quality grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced potatoes with 3 tablespoons of melted butter, minced onion, parsley, garlic powder, kosher salt, pepper, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Brush a 9-inch pie plate with the remaining tablespoon of melted butter.
- Arrange the seasoned potato slices in the pie plate and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.
