Ingredients

1 lb Italian sausage (casings removed)

1 (32 oz) container chicken broth

1 (28 oz) can petite diced tomatoes

2 (10.5 oz) cans tomato soup

2 (8 oz) containers chive and onion cream cheese spread (softened)

1 (18 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini (uncooked)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Sausage: In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage until browned and no longer pink. Transfer the cooked sausage to the slow cooker.
  2. Add the Base Ingredients: Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and tomato soup to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. Add the Cream Cheese and Tortellini: Stir in the cream cheese and cheese tortellini. Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 to 30 minutes, until the tortellini is cooked through.
