Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups sugar

1 egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ cup sugar (for rolling)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until combined.
