Ingredients

4 lobster tails (about 45 oz each), split in half lengthwise

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 tablespoons olive oil

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges, for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, garlic, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), and lemon juice.
  3. Place the lobster tails flesh-side up on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with the Cajun garlic butter mixture.
  4. Roast for 10–12 minutes, until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly golden on top. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing.

Use jumbo shrimp or scallops as a substitute for lobster.
