Ingredients
4 lobster tails (about 4–5 oz each), split in half lengthwise
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 tablespoons olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, garlic, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), and lemon juice.
- Place the lobster tails flesh-side up on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with the Cajun garlic butter mixture.
- Roast for 10–12 minutes, until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly golden on top. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing.
Notes
Use jumbo shrimp or scallops as a substitute for lobster.
Grill the lobster for a smoky twist.
Add a splash of white wine for more depth in the butter mixture.
Whisk in heavy cream for a creamier finish.
Reduce butter and increase lemon juice for a lighter version.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheat gently in the oven or by steaming; avoid microwaving.
