Description

Crispy, cheesy spinach dip crisps that make a perfect low-carb snack or party appetizer, combining mozzarella, Parmesan, and fresh spinach for a savory, guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup finely chopped fresh spinach (or thawed and drained frozen spinach)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for a mild kick

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella, Parmesan, chopped spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, drop small mounds of mixture onto baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  4. Flatten each mound slightly with the back of a spoon to form thin rounds.
  5. Bake for 7-10 minutes until edges are golden brown and crisps are bubbly and firm.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes to crisp up.
  7. Carefully lift crisps from parchment paper and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Use thawed and thoroughly drained frozen spinach to avoid sogginess.

Variations include sharp cheddar, asiago cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh herbs, or cayenne pepper for extra flavor.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days; avoid refrigeration to keep crisps crunchy.

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes to restore crispiness; avoid microwaving.

Perfect paired with ranch dressing, marinara sauce, or creamy spinach dip.
