Indulge in a delicious breakfast or dessert with these Strawberry Cheesecake Cinnamon Rolls. Fluffy, soft rolls are filled with a creamy cheesecake layer and fresh strawberries, then topped with a sweet glaze. Perfect for brunch or a special treat, these rolls offer a delightful combination of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

For the Dough:

1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

4 cups all-purpose flour

For the Filling:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

23 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: 1/4 cup strawberry jam for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Combine warm milk, yeast, and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add melted butter, salt, eggs, and 2 cups flour. Mix until combined. Gradually add remaining flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes. Let rise in a greased bowl covered with a damp cloth for 1 hour.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Mix softened butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. In another bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Assemble the Rolls: Punch down dough and roll out into a 16×12 inch rectangle. Spread cinnamon-sugar butter, then cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle diced strawberries. Roll up dough tightly and cut into 12 slices.
  4. Bake the Rolls: Place slices in a greased 9×13 inch dish. Let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Stir in strawberry jam if desired. Drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

For best results, use fresh strawberries and ensure the cream cheese is softened.

Rolls can be made a day ahead; refrigerate overnight and bake in the morning.
