Description

This Strawberry Lemon Sparkler is a light, refreshing mocktail that combines sweet fresh strawberries with bright lemon and crisp sparkling water. It is bubbly, fruity, and perfect for brunches or warm evenings.


Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1/4 cup lemon syrup

1 bottle chilled sparkling water or non-alcoholic sparkling wine

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Lemon slices for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place the sliced strawberries and sugar in a bowl. Gently mash with a fork until juicy but slightly chunky. Let sit for about 10 minutes to release natural juices.
  2. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and lemon syrup until well combined.
  3. Fill serving glasses halfway with ice cubes.
  4. Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons of the strawberry mixture into each glass.
  5. Slowly top each glass with chilled sparkling water or non-alcoholic sparkling wine, pouring gently to preserve the bubbles.
  6. Lightly stir to combine the flavors, then garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute strawberries with raspberries or mixed berries for a different flavor.

Adjust sweetness by increasing or reducing the sugar to taste.

Prepare the strawberry-lemon base up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerate in an airtight container.

Add the sparkling beverage just before serving to maintain carbonation.
