Description
These strawberry yogurt bites are a refreshing frozen snack made with creamy yogurt, fresh strawberries, and crunchy granola layers. They are simple to prepare, naturally sweet, and perfect for a light treat or quick snack.
Ingredients
½ cup granola
1 cup yogurt of choice
½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
¾ cup fresh strawberries, sliced or chopped
¼ cup granola, finely crushed
Instructions
- Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners or use a silicone muffin pan for easy removal.
- Sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of granola into the bottom of each muffin cup to create a crunchy base.
- In a medium bowl, combine the yogurt and diced strawberries. Gently mash the strawberries into the yogurt using a fork or pastry cutter until mostly blended but still slightly chunky.
- Stir the mixture well until evenly combined.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the strawberry yogurt mixture into each muffin cup and spread it into an even layer. Lightly tap the pan on the counter to smooth the tops.
- Press about 1 tablespoon of sliced strawberries, or a single strawberry slice, onto the top of each yogurt portion.
- Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of finely crushed granola over each bite for extra crunch.
- Place the pan in the freezer and freeze for 2 to 4 hours, or until the yogurt bites are completely firm.
- Remove the bites from the pan and allow them to thaw for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can substitute strawberries with blueberries, raspberries, or diced mango for different flavor variations.
Vanilla or honey yogurt adds extra sweetness, while plain Greek yogurt creates a thicker and tangier texture.
Add shredded coconut, chia seeds, or chopped nuts to the granola for added texture and nutrition.
Store yogurt bites in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2–3 weeks.
Let the bites sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating so they soften slightly.
