1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- Bake for 10 minutes, until the crust begins to lightly brown.
- While the crust bakes, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth in a large bowl.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, flour, and salt, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Once the crust is baked, pour the cheesecake mixture over it and spread it evenly.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheesecake is set and lightly golden on top.
- Let the bars cool for 10 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Slice into bars and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the cheesecake filling.
Try topping with fresh berries, chocolate chips, or a caramel drizzle for added flair.
