Rich and fudgy chocolate brownies swirled with sweet, creamy peanut butter for a decadent dessert with a beautiful marbled finish.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips and spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over the brownie batter and swirl with a knife to create a marbled pattern.
- Bake for 28–32 minutes, until the center is set but still slightly soft.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into 9 squares.
Notes
For fudgier brownies, slightly underbake and look for moist crumbs on a toothpick.
Crunchy peanut butter can be used for added texture.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
Freeze individually wrapped brownies for up to 2 months.
Microwave for 10–15 seconds to restore a warm, fudgy texture.
