Description

Rich and fudgy chocolate brownies swirled with sweet, creamy peanut butter for a decadent dessert with a beautiful marbled finish.


Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

0.5 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

2 tablespoons powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. In a small bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over the brownie batter and swirl with a knife to create a marbled pattern.
  7. Bake for 28–32 minutes, until the center is set but still slightly soft.
  8. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into 9 squares.

Notes

For fudgier brownies, slightly underbake and look for moist crumbs on a toothpick.

Crunchy peanut butter can be used for added texture.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Freeze individually wrapped brownies for up to 2 months.

Microwave for 10–15 seconds to restore a warm, fudgy texture.
