Description

These Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies are rich, fudgy, and made with wholesome ingredients like peanut butter, mashed banana, and maple syrup. They’re naturally gluten-free, flourless, and easy to prepare in just one bowl.


Ingredients

1/2 cup peanut butter (natural, unsweetened or sweetened)

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup mashed banana (or unsweetened applesauce)

1/4 cup pure maple syrup or honey

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the peanut butter, cocoa powder, mashed banana, maple syrup (or honey), baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  3. Fold in the mini chocolate chips, if using.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  6. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing for best texture.

Notes

Use almond butter instead of peanut butter for a flavor variation.

Add extra cocoa powder or a sprinkle of espresso powder for deeper chocolate flavor.

Swirl extra peanut butter on top before baking for a marbled look.

Add chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans for texture.
