Description

TikTok Ramen is a viral sensation that transforms instant ramen noodles into a gourmet meal with a quick and flavorful sauce. This easy recipe features a blend of garlic, butter, soy sauce, and brown sugar, topped with a fried egg for extra richness. Ideal for a speedy snack or a quick lunch, this TikTok Ramen delivers savory goodness in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

1 package instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packet)

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

1 large egg

1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning (optional)

1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and optional crushed red pepper flakes. Cook for another minute until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Combine with Noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  4. Cook the Egg: Push the noodles to one side of the skillet and crack the egg into the empty space. Scramble the egg slightly and mix it into the noodles.
  5. Serve: Transfer the ramen to a bowl and garnish with everything bagel seasoning, sliced green onions, and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Customize with additional garnishes like sriracha or pickled ginger.

For a heartier meal, consider adding cooked chicken, tofu, or shrimp.

Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 2-3 days.
