Description

A decadent dessert featuring layers of buttery crust and juicy peaches, topped with a golden, flaky crust for the ultimate cobbler experience. This Triple Crust Peach Cobbler is an indulgent treat that combines the richness of pie crust with the fresh, sweet flavors of peaches.

Ingredients

6 large peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp lemon juice

3 pre-made pie crusts (or homemade)

4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

2 tbsp turbinado sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix peaches, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Stir to coat.
  3. Roll out the first crust; place it in the dish and trim excess.
  4. Add half the peach mixture, then cover with the second crust. Trim edges and seal lightly.
  5. Spread the remaining peach mixture over the second crust.
  6. Top with the third crust, seal edges, and cut small slits for steam.
  7. Brush with melted butter and egg wash; sprinkle with turbinado sugar if desired.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the crust is golden and the filling bubbles.
  9. Cool slightly before serving. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For easier peach peeling, blanch peaches in boiling water for 30 seconds and transfer to an ice bath.

Use canned peaches (drained) or frozen peaches if fresh are unavailable. Adjust sugar as needed.

To avoid a soggy bottom crust, pre-bake it for 5-7 minutes.
