Description

Soft, chewy, and quick to prepare, these two-ingredient dough pretzel bites are the perfect snack or party treat. Made with Greek yogurt and self-rising flour, this easy recipe offers endless topping possibilities and a healthier twist on classic pretzels. Ready in just 30 minutes, they’re perfect for satisfying cravings or impressing guests.

Ingredients

1 cup self-rising flour (or 1 cup all-purpose flour + 1 ½ tsp baking powder + ¼ tsp salt)

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened, full-fat, or low-fat)

Optional Toppings

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Coarse salt, cinnamon sugar, or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt in a medium bowl to form a dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 2-3 minutes until smooth and non-sticky.
  4. Divide the dough into small pieces, shaping each into a ball or pretzel.
  5. Place bites on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash (if using), and sprinkle with desired toppings.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

To make your own self-rising flour, mix 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 1 ½ tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp salt.

Customize toppings for sweet or savory variations.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate for 5 days.
