Description

Indulge in a spooky and delightful treat with our Vampire Fudge! Perfect for Halloween, this rich and creamy fudge features layers of decadent chocolate and vibrant red “blood” fudge. With an easy preparation and chilling time, it’s a fun and festive dessert that will impress your guests and elevate your Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

3 cups white chocolate chips

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

Red food coloring

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup cocoa powder

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 teaspoon black food coloring (optional for extra darkness)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. Make the Chocolate Layer: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips, 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter. Heat over low, stirring until smooth. Stir in black food coloring if desired. Pour into the pan and spread evenly. Chill for 10 minutes.
  3. Make the Red Fudge Layer: Melt remaining white chocolate chips and condensed milk in another saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Add vanilla extract and red food coloring until the desired color is reached.
  4. Assemble the Fudge: Pour the red fudge over the chocolate layer. Optionally, use a toothpick to swirl the layers for a marbled effect.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. Lift out using parchment, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

For a darker chocolate layer, use black food coloring.

If desired, add nuts or other mix-ins to the fudge before chilling.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
