Ingredients

1 cup fresh cherries, pitted

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

1 shot (1 oz) espresso or strong coffee

1 cup milk (or milk alternative)

Sweetener to taste (sugar or honey)


Instructions

  1. Place the pitted cherries and vanilla extract into a blender and blend until completely smooth with no chunks remaining.
  2. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling.
  3. Pour the freshly brewed espresso into a mug and add the cherry-vanilla mixture.
  4. Slowly pour the steamed milk over the top to create a smooth layered effect.
