Ingredients

2 cups walnut halves

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup water

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, mix brown sugar, water, cinnamon (if using), and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves and bubbles.
