Ingredients
4 salmon fillets
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven/Grill: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a grill to medium-high.
- Prepare the Ingredients: Rub the Cajun seasoning evenly over the salmon fillets and shrimp.
- Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip the fillets and cook for another 4-5 minutes until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Bake or Grill (Optional): If using the oven, place the seasoned salmon and shrimp on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Finish and Serve: Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste if you prefer a milder or spicier dish.
For optimal texture, avoid overcooking the salmon and shrimp.
