Description
These homemade fruit roll-ups are sweet, chewy, and naturally fruity, made with just three simple ingredients. They are a wholesome snack perfect for lunchboxes, road trips, or an afternoon treat.
Ingredients
4–6 cups fresh or frozen fruit
4–6 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash, peel, and chop the fruit as needed, then blend until completely smooth.
- Add the honey and lemon juice and blend again until fully combined.
- Pour the fruit purée into a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring often, until slightly thickened.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- Spread the fruit mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheets, about 1/8 inch thick.
- Bake at 170°F (77°C) for 4–6 hours until the surface feels tacky but is no longer sticky.
- Allow the fruit leather to cool completely.
- Cut into strips and roll each strip with parchment paper for storage.
Notes
Use strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, mangoes, apples, or mixed fruits.
Replace honey with maple syrup if desired.
Add a pinch of cinnamon for a warm spiced flavor.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
