Description

A festive no-bake dessert featuring layers of soft angel food cake, creamy white chocolate pudding, fluffy whipped topping, and fresh strawberries and blueberries. Perfect for Fourth of July celebrations and easy to prepare ahead of time.

Ingredients

6.8 ounces instant white chocolate pudding mix (2 boxes, 3.4 ounces each)

4 cups cold whole milk

14 ounces angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes

16 ounces whipped topping, thawed

32 ounces fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced

18 ounces fresh blueberries, washed and dried

Instructions

  1. Prepare the white chocolate pudding according to the package directions using the cold whole milk. Refrigerate until fully set.
  2. Arrange a single layer of angel food cake cubes in the bottom of a large trifle bowl.
  3. Spoon half of the prepared pudding evenly over the cake.
  4. Place sliced strawberries around the inside edge of the bowl for decoration, then spread a layer of sliced strawberries over the pudding.
  5. Add a layer of fresh blueberries.
  6. Spread half of the whipped topping evenly over the berries.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake cubes, pudding, strawberries, and blueberries.
  8. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the top.
  9. Decorate with extra strawberries and blueberries.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Vanilla or cheesecake-flavored pudding can be substituted for the white chocolate pudding.

Homemade whipped cream may be used instead of whipped topping.

Add raspberries or sliced bananas for extra flavor and texture.

Top with white chocolate shavings for an elegant finish.

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Do not freeze, as the berries and whipped topping may become watery after thawing.

Serve chilled directly from the refrigerator.
