Ingredients

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 egg

Filling:

15 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed (e.g., Oreos)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

12 tbsp milk

1/2 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Make the Dough:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
    • Add warm milk, water, melted butter, and egg. Stir until a soft dough forms.
    • Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • Mix crushed cookies, softened butter, and sugar into a paste.
  3. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Roll dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
    • Spread filling evenly over the dough.
    • Roll dough tightly from the long edge and cut into 12 pieces.
    • Arrange rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30–45 minutes.
  4. Bake the Rolls:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Make the Glaze:
    • Whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust milk for desired consistency.
  6. Glaze and Serve:
    • Drizzle glaze over warm rolls. Serve immediately.
