Ingredients
2 pounds seedless green grapes, washed, dried, and halved
2 pounds seedless red grapes, washed, dried, and halved
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
Instructions
- Wash, thoroughly dry, and halve the green and red grapes.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the grapes into the dressing until evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Just before serving, sprinkle the top with brown sugar and chopped pecans.
Notes
Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter version.
Use chopped walnuts or sliced almonds instead of pecans if desired.
Add mini marshmallows for a sweeter dessert-style salad.
Mix in fresh strawberries or blueberries for extra color and flavor.
Drizzle a little honey into the dressing for additional sweetness.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Do not freeze, as the texture will not hold up after thawing.
Add the brown sugar and pecans just before serving to keep them crisp.
