Description

Creamy Grape Salad combines fresh red and green grapes with a rich vanilla cream cheese dressing, finished with brown sugar and crunchy pecans. It’s a refreshing side dish or dessert that’s perfect for potlucks, holidays, and summer gatherings.


Ingredients

2 pounds seedless green grapes, washed, dried, and halved

2 pounds seedless red grapes, washed, dried, and halved

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1/3 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons chopped pecans


Instructions

  1. Wash, thoroughly dry, and halve the green and red grapes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold the grapes into the dressing until evenly coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Just before serving, sprinkle the top with brown sugar and chopped pecans.

Notes

Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter version.

Use chopped walnuts or sliced almonds instead of pecans if desired.

Add mini marshmallows for a sweeter dessert-style salad.

Mix in fresh strawberries or blueberries for extra color and flavor.
