Description

These Easy Chocolate Dipped Watermelon Bites combine juicy frozen watermelon with rich dark chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt for a refreshing no-bake treat. Perfect for summer gatherings, snacks, or a light dessert.

Ingredients

¼ watermelon, cut into bite-sized cubes

12 ounces dark chocolate

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the watermelon cubes on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  3. Freeze the watermelon cubes for about 15 minutes until firm.
  4. Combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  5. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  6. Remove the watermelon cubes from the freezer.
  7. Dip each watermelon cube into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off.
  8. Return the coated watermelon cubes to the lined baking sheet.
  9. Immediately sprinkle with sea salt while the chocolate is still soft.
  10. Let the bites thaw for about 10 minutes before serving for the best texture.

Notes

Substitute milk or white chocolate for a sweeter variation.

Top with chopped pistachios, toasted coconut, crushed almonds, or colorful sprinkles before the chocolate sets.

Add lime zest or a drizzle of white chocolate for extra flavor.

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving.
