2 teaspoons cornstarch

Biscuit Topping:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed

1/4 cup boiling water

Topping:

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peach Filling:
    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
    • In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat evenly.
    • Transfer the peach mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Biscuit Topping:
    • In a medium bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
