1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
4 lettuce leaves

- Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium heat.

- Top with another slice of toasted bread, cut in half, and serve warm.
Notes
Use sourdough bread or ciabatta rolls for extra texture and flavor.

Try spicy mayo, ranch dressing, or garlic aioli for different flavor variations.
Add avocado slices for a creamy and fresh twist.
Store leftover grilled chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Keep vegetables separate from the bread until serving to maintain crispness.
Reheat chicken in a skillet or microwave before assembling fresh sandwiches.
