Description

Juicy garlic butter steak bites are served over tender cheese tortellini coated in a rich homemade Parmesan Alfredo sauce. This comforting restaurant-style meal comes together in just 30 minutes for an indulgent and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

lbs steak bites

5 tbsp butter, divided

3 garlic cloves, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini

2 cups heavy cream

1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the steak bites and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked tortellini to the Alfredo sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  8. Serve the creamy Alfredo tortellini topped with the garlic butter steak bites. Spoon any remaining pan sauce over the steak before serving.

Notes

Substitute steak with chicken breast or shrimp for a different protein option.

Add mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, asparagus, or peas for extra vegetables.

Use Cajun seasoning or red pepper flakes for additional heat and flavor.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat gently with a splash of cream or milk to maintain a creamy sauce.

Freezing is not recommended as the Alfredo sauce may separate.
