Ingredients
1 stick salted butter, softened
Zest of 1 lemon
1/2 cup garlic scapes, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Finely mince the garlic scapes, chives, and parsley in a food processor, or chop them very finely by hand.
- Place the softened butter in a small mixing bowl.
- Add the garlic scapes, chives, parsley, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix thoroughly until the herbs and seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the butter.
- Transfer the butter mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap.
- Shape the butter into a compact log, roll tightly, and twist the ends to seal.
- Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours, or until completely firm.
- Unwrap, slice into rounds, and serve as desired.
