Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup water

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp cornstarch

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, sliced

Sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the ground beef and onions. Stir well to combine.
