Description
This iced pineapple mint green tea is bright, fruity, and refreshing with tropical pineapple juice, cooling mint, and fresh lime. It is an easy chilled drink perfect for warm days, brunch, or summer gatherings.
Ingredients
6 cups water
4 green tea bags
3 sprigs fresh mint
1/4 cup honey
2 cups pineapple juice
Juice of 1 lime
Ice, for serving
Pineapple wedges, for garnish
Lime slices, for garnish
Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a gentle simmer, then remove from the heat.
- Add the green tea bags and fresh mint sprigs. Let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and mint, then allow the tea to cool slightly.
- Pour the tea into a large pitcher and stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
- Add the remaining 2 cups water, pineapple juice, and lime juice. Stir well to combine.
- Chill until cold, then serve over ice garnished with pineapple wedges, lime slices, and fresh mint sprigs.
Notes
Use maple syrup instead of honey for a deeper sweetness.
Add extra lime juice for a brighter citrus flavor.
Swap pineapple juice with mango juice for a tropical variation.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
