Description
These festive Mini Pumpkin Pizzas turn mini naan breads into quick, pumpkin-shaped pizzas topped with sauce, gooey mozzarella, and your favorite toppings. They are perfect for Halloween parties, fall dinners, or an easy seasonal snack.
Ingredients
6 mini naan breads
6 tablespoons pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Favorite pizza toppings, such as pepperoni, sliced olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, or cooked sausage
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a knife, carefully cut two small angled notches from the top edge of each mini naan, leaving a small section in the center to resemble a pumpkin stem.
- Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce over each naan, leaving a little space around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the pizza sauce.
- Add your preferred toppings without overloading the naan so the crust cooks evenly.
- Arrange the prepared mini pizzas on the lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
- Bake for 5–10 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and beginning to turn lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, use toppings such as olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, spinach, or tomatoes.
For extra pumpkin color, combine mozzarella with shredded cheddar and use a small strip of green bell pepper to emphasize the stem.
Mini pita breads, flatbreads, or other individual-sized precooked pizza bases can be substituted for the naan; adjust baking time as needed.
Any meat toppings that require precooking, such as sausage , should be fully cooked before being added.
Pesto or creamy garlic sauce can be substituted for traditional pizza sauce.
Store cooled leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
Reheat at approximately 350°F (175°C) in the oven or air fryer until hot and crisp.
The naan can be cut and toppings prepared ahead of time, but assemble shortly before baking to prevent the bases from becoming soggy.
