Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, gently warm the heavy cream with the fresh mint leaves over low heat until just about to simmer, avoiding boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and let the mint steep in the cream for 15-20 minutes to infuse the flavor.
  3. Strain the cream through a fine mesh sieve to remove mint leaves, then chill the mint-infused cream in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  4. Once chilled, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  5. Arrange the halved strawberries in serving bowls or plates.
  6. Spoon or pipe the mint-infused whipped cream over the strawberries.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs if desired and serve immediately.
